Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends

Your travel ticket includes:

Freedom to travel all day on steam trains such as Henry the Green Engine or Daisy the diesel rail car.

Trains run approximately every 30-40 minutes from 09:35am to 4:30pm.

FREE Thomas the Tank Engine activity sheet.

FREE ‘live’ entertainment with Mr Wizard shows and a bouncy castle/slide on Ropley picnic area.

FREE rides with ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’, ‘Diesel’, ‘Toad’ the brake van and rides on the miniature railway!

Look out for ‘Sir Topham Hatt, The Fat Controller’ and other characters.

FREE face painting, transfers, stickers, colouring and Thomas & Friends DVD shows in the Imagination Station at Alresford.

FREE Thomas & Friends Engine Engineer’s Certificate.

Facilities on site include:

FREE car parking at Ropley station in a large field.

FREE buggy parking, picnic storage, baby feeding and nappy changing in a marquee at Ropley station.

Hot & cold food and drinks available to purchase from stands at Ropley plus the West Country Buffet.

Toilets available on all steam trains and at all stations. Baby changing facilities at Alton, Ropley and Alresford.

Day Out With Thomas the Tank Engine gift shops at Alton, Ropley and Alresford Stations.

Picnic areas overlooking Alresford and Ropley stations.

In order to make the most of your ‘Day Out With Thomas’, we advise that you arrive before lunch. Activities run between 9.35am to 4.30pm.

Entry to all Thomas the Tank Engine events is by travel ticket only.
