A fantastic opportunity to get your hands on the controls of a powerful steam locomotive at the head of our fantastic restored rake of heritage goods wagons, considered to be some of the finest in the country.

Under the tuition of our expert crew, you will take control of the engine and learn the skills necessary to work a freight train.

Coupling, uncoupling, braking and taking up slack. 

When not on the footplate, you will ride with the Guard in the comfort of one of our Brake Vans, an excellent vantage point for photographs!
