Relive the magic and splendour of steam hauled fine dining onboard our premier steam hauled dining train. Enjoy a sumptuous five course silver service meal whilst you meander through stunning Hampshire countryside on a trip to savour.

The Watercress Belle is formed of ex British Railways MK1 boat train and first class dining coaches.  These coaches were originally used on premier services such as those from London Waterloo to Southampton Docks serving ocean liners such as the Queen Mary. 

Many of our steam locomotives worked these luxury services from London to the south coast over the former Southern Railway during the age of steam.

The Watercress Belle operates on select Saturdays throughout 2011, taking you back to the time of real glamour.  A truly memorable dining experience.

The Watercress Belle departs Alresford Station 7.30pm sharp, returning to Alresford Station approximately 10.45pm.

First Class train fare and meal, only £58.00 per person. Drinks are available from the wine waiting staff at extra cost.

Due to the fixed seating layout on these former boat train coaches bookings can only be accepted in multiples of two.
