MHR Official Website Loco Shed pages comprise the original steam railway docusoap website, updated several times each week. Follow our volunteers as they work to keep steam alive - not dead in a museum! Watch over their shoulders as these wonderful machines are restored, maintained and run; as replacement parts are made and fitted; as MHR carries steam enthusiasts, families and footplate students faster, safer, more stylishly, month on month. Visit us, see, hear, and experience the thrill of powerful steam locos working really hard for mile upon mile up our long, steep gradients.

| 8th September 2005:
Canadian Pacific goes to Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for their Steam Gala (10th - 11th September 2005) but will be back for the MHR Gala In return Black Prince* is coming to MHR from GWR for our Steam Gala (23rd - 25th September 2005). I'm hearing interesting rumours and ideas concerning how we can use two 9Fs to astound our visitors. You can find a video of Black Prince in action at GWR here *Photo (Winchcombe, 4th September 2005): Matt Allen Another welcome visitor to the MHR Gala will be City of Truro | ![]() |

Amazing how much difference it makes now the trees are coming out. I compared a photo of the COT from the same location taken in March: it looks completely different Photo and report (8th May 2005): Matt Allen |
