Please click here for the weekend's timetable with loco allocations. We apologise for the delay in releasing this information, we have been let down by the haulage who were bringing 45379 Black 5 from the East Lancs Railway and as a result this engine will not feature during the gala.
Our Spring Steam Gala always aims for the spectacular, with a dazzling display of steam powered magic! Over 3 days we run an intensive timetable - giving you the opportunity to ride behind as many of the engines as possible, as well as giving great photo opportunities.
We are delighted to announce that our three guest engines are 35028 Clan Line, Met 1 Tank and 34046 Braunton. We also have the return of 9F 92212 and it will be the last chance to see the U Class 31806 at a MHR gala as she is due to leave us in August. Together with resident locos 925 Cheltenham, 850 Lord Nelson, 34007 Wadebridge and the Black 5 45379 it's going to be a packed timetable!
Throughout the weekend there will be opportunity to see the demonstration freight train and behind the scenes with our shed tours and viewing galleries. Clan Line will also spend some time in the Cattle Dock at Alresford so that you can view the cab.
Don't forget our gift shop at Alresford station carries a wide range of modelling items from Bachmann, Hornby and Dapol!
