David Sibley had done one of his 'mega-shunts' to empty the loco yard, parking many of the locos in the Up platform of Ropley station; Andy Netherwood and Keith Loughlin were clearing space in the Running Shed for their new boilers workshop; Clive Holliday and Frank Boait were organising space in the Loco Shed to move the Black Five under cover; and Henry O'Dwyer was on hand mid-afternoon to take these:
