Airbrake controls and gauges were temporarily installed on #31625 (to the left of the reverser wheel) ready for its appearance at Steam on the Met '99.

U-Class #31625 represented Mid-Hants Railway at this event

Pulling away from Rickmansworth, approaching Nightingale Road Bridge

Leaving Chalfont Station.
By all reports an exceptionally good time was had there by all, and the 'U-Boat' barked a fair old treat up the 7 miles of 1:100.
