At MHR you can meet Thomas, Diesel, James, Douglas, Diesel 199, Toad, the Troublesome Trucks, the Dragon, The Fat Controller, Mrs Kyndley, the Vicar, the Policeman, and lots more

3rd April 2002:

'Thomas' and 'James' prepare to haul the first train from Alresford to Ropley

'Thomas' was more interested in 'Douglas' than in the camera.

(Well, he's always having his photo taken)

When he got to Ropley he was immediately surrounded by his fans ...
... who even hitched a lift from 'Diesel' and 'Toad'

'Thomas' has many Japanese fans (we now have many of our webpages repeated in Japanese*) and many visit us to meet the real 'Thomas'.

30th March 2002:

We were running four trains end to end, using 'Douglas' at Alton to move trains from the loop to the platform.  He really looks good with his face on.

 30th March 2002:

Mr Wizard went walk-about with Bertha the Bunny in between his magic and Punch & Judy shows. Thomas and Diesel were up to their usual tricks with the Troublesome Trucks at Ropley, and showed off to the crowds with tug-of-war and races. Thomas won most of the competitions.
