Frank Boait in the wheeldrop below the trailing driving wheels of #35005 'Canadian Pacific' which had been running a hot box. We'd just removed a spring. The following series of photos shows progress as the wheels are removed. They were raised again once the loco had been shunted aside. All photos: Tony Wood

The wheels were later raised. The whole process was of interest to an audience at the fence of the picnic site across the running line. | ||
| 6th August 2001: Welcome back Keith Loughlin, first day today after a spell in the fork-truck industry. He and Andy formed a new large section of intricate pipework for CP complete with flanges. Andy was keen enough to try it for fit from the wheeldrop platform whilst that was descending! | ![]() |
