| (Right): That's the whistle-valve Steve
made, and the new whistle, made yesterday. The rod (top) links
the valve to a central lever high in the cab, and a chain will be added for
easy access by driver or fireman.
(Below): The 'bags' (which deliver water to the injectors) arrived mid-afternoon today, and Clive secured them to the hose-couplings right away so that Neil could install them either side between cab and tender |
