The S15 #30506 had been decidedly under-braked (Bob Millard had amused the shed onlookers with his three attempts to position it at the coal stage on Monday) Frank is here checking the replacement brake cylinder (it's upside-down), Bubs is leaning on the bottom cover, which is resting on the piston. The big O-ring fits between piston and cylinder, and rolls as the piston moves to maintain the seal. |
