January 2006: Mid-week P-Way gang setting off for Alresford to add more fence panels to the restored picnic area. With the help of Ben's gutsy little tractor, a good length of fence was erected. Those without a bad back were heavily out-numbered by those with a bad back. As you can see from the last shot, no one was proud enough to show their face to the camera! Photos (mid-January

December 2005: Jacking and packing at Medstead on 13 September 2005. The time recorded in image file is 08:01, but that does seem a tad optimistic, given the usual arrival time of one here present and the railway ritual known as tea drinking |

April 2005:
Last weekend marked the end of another
stage of fitting the 'hardware' for the Alton to Medstead Signalling
Project. |

Alongside
the external work, other members have been
installing the trunking that carries the connections internally, fixing
the plastic trunking in the 'under box' and
accessing the main box through holes in the flooring. At the end of the
weekend there was a very pleasing feeling throughout the group that
this is another step towards the project's completion, and now we can
get on with some of the lighter work of putting in cables and
connecting-up
