Keith Loughlin checks steam unions on the S160 in the last of the Autumn sunshine in 1997.     Sadly, this engine  (seen here at Ropley Yard on 23 July 1998) is now withdrawn from service:  too many boiler stays and tubes need replacement, and other work has priority at present.  A dramatic picture shows what we're missing
