Waterloo Station in about 1930

Don't know source of this photo, which just turned up at Mid-Hants Railway Ropley Mess (no, it isn't mine; it was taken years before I was born!)

Consensus is that it's ten past six in the morning, and the engine almost hidden in immediate foreground is an M7.

Horace Ward has contributed some of his photos of the station:
Two taken in 1973
B&W picture taken in 1980's of platform 16-21 just before it was transformed into the Eurostar terminal. WHSmiths had just 'modernised' the bookshop. The old station master office was still there (renamed 'Area Manager') next to the flower shop
