| 28th February 2003: Once the width of Bodmin's
inner firebox below the firedoor had been removed, it was possible to examine
adjacent sections, both inner and outer. The exposed (original) outer firebox
is in remarkably good condition, but the inner firebox either side of the
firedoor shows pitting, and has also been removed for replacement. The foundation
ring corners will be replaced
