| 27th November 2003: A sunny day at Ropley Our Stanier Black Five has had its bogie
removed
This afternoon the loco was moved into the shed - the first time since withdrawal by BR that it has been under cover! |

Up the yard, Frank Twine and Chris Chirm were delivering concrete sleepers with the Atlas crane. They will be used as foundations for the new boiler workshop |

The signwriter has been booked to line out and number the P&OSNC
cab.
Douglas had been lit near the wheeldrop outside (for steam heat tests on a buffet car) and the smoke was drifting into the shed

Paddy is working his way round the latest (TSO) coach in the shed replacing interior ply panels. When they're varnished, the grain will come up a treat.
