After a bit of shunting, by late afternoon the 9F (with connecting rods fitted) and its pony truck were in position by the wheeldrop

The green trolley was removed, and all is now set for fitting the pony truck

8th September 2004:  

9F #92212 is still a 4-10-0, but we plan to refit the pony truck on *Friday to return it to a 2-10-0.  See it in action at the Steam Gala (17th-19th September 2004)

David discusses big end side clearances with Duncan. The rods are now ready to fit as soon as Duncan will let us near the loco.   d:-)

Fitting the 9F smoke deflectors this morning.

Smokebox and insides of the deflectors were painted beforehand
