The Watercress Line is delighted to announce that, from Saturday 11th July it will once again be open, subject to any changes in the advice from government. For the safety of staff and visitors and to comply with the law and government guidance we have had to make a few adjustments.
- All tickets must be bought in advance
- The train service has been adjusted to increase the length of the trip a little and give you extra time at Ropley where you can enjoy the open air and spacious surroundings, see the locomotive depot, get some refreshments, enjoy a picnic or buy a souvenir
- Seats will be allocated and visitors asked to use only their allocated seats on the train booked
- The law requires a face covering whilst on board the train unless:
      - You are with your family group or linked family group in a compartment
      - You are eating or drinking
- No dogs are permitted we hope to find a way to welcome our canine friends back soon, but they increase the cleaning required

Pre-booking is essential and is now available on-line

Although we are hoping to start train services soon, we still need your help.  The last few months has been challenging and there is a lot of work to catch up on.  For more details on our Emergency Appeal please visit our donation page at Virgin Money Giving.

Or you can donate £10 by texting WATERCRESS to 70085.

Please note: We are only able to operate a limited number of our usual services, Dining Trains, Real Ale Trains and Footplate Experiences are not able to run for the time being.  Please look at our web-site for further updates as and when we have them, or register to receive the latest updates by e-mail by clicking subscribe here

We look forward to welcoming you back to the railway very soon.
