Talk on Hampshire's Watercress

Join us for a fascinating talk in the Alresford goods shed and discover how watercress production started in the historic market town of Alresford. Starting with its geographical qualities that make so much spring water available, to the unique growing methods and finally the nutritional and medical properties that have captivated the attention of consumers for over 2000 years. The talk is FREE and no need to book. Times: 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Location: Goods Shed, Alresford station, SO24 9JG. Parking available in the station car park £1.50 all day.

Why not take a ride on the train? We will be running a two-train service on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September. Normal fees apply for travelling on the train. Tickets can be purchased from the station staff.

The Company does not guarantee that the trains will arrive or depart at the times stated and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice, or to substitute a different train should this be necessary for whatever reason.
