We are all so excited to welcome the record-breaking Flying Scotsman, the most famous steam locomotive in the world, for the first time this February and March!

Flying Scotsman running days:

Sit back and relax behind this iconic locomotive as you travel in style through the glorious Hampshire countryside, overlooking the South Downs National Park. Travel our ten mile line from Alresford to Alton, and then return.

During your journey look out for the delightful topiary hedges along the heritage platforms at Ropley and Medstead and Four Marks.

At Alresford Station, our West Country Buffet will be open for hot and cold food and drinks and the gift shop in the Old Goods Shed will be selling fabulous gifts.
